The Language of Motherhood

Recently Hunter and I walked down to the small playground in our neighborhood. This was during the week, so Sam was at work and I was on my own. My Choice to be a Stay-at-Home Mom

After giving birth to Hunter last summer I was home on maternity leave for a few months and did go back to work in the fall. Hunter went to daycare. Hunter was fine at daycare, but I was not fine at work. Sam did the hard job of dropping him off at daycare, but I still struggled emotionally knowing it wasn’t me feeding him, changing him, making him laugh, rocking him to sleep, comforting a cry, or watching him meet and master new milestones (the list goes on…). Wow! Life has definitely taken over for the past several months! Let’s do a quick recap shall we? Last time we left you I was pregnant with our sweet little boy (who is almost 10 months old now!). I have to say pregnancy agreed with me…up until 39 weeks. My family suffered a devastating tragedy when I was 39 weeks pregnant and my body seemed to only be able to process one thing at a time.
